Small Groups

Berean Class – A fellowship of younger adults who meet each Sunday morning in the auditorium before the morning worship service to share prayer requests and learn how to serve God in their new life stages. As the name Berean suggests, the members of this group desire to search the Scriptures as they begin to put a Biblical philosophy into practice in their lives.

Choir – A group of church musicians to who gather for practice and fellowship each Sunday night before the evening service to prepare music for singing in the Sunday morning and evening worship services

Life Action Class – A fellowship of adults who meet each Sunday morning in the choir room before the morning worship service to share prayer requests and learn how to live an active life for God. The group gets together for fellowship on a regular basis outside of class.

Send the Light – A ladies group that meets once a month on a Tuesday night for dinner, discussion about ladies’ interests, and support of our church missionaries.

Joy Class – A fellowship of ladies who gather each week on Sunday’s before the morning worship service to share their lives, learn from God’s word, and find opportunities for service.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast – A men’s group that meets occasionally on Saturday mornings to discuss church needs, have fellowship, and prayer for one another.

Lunch and Learn - This is a group made up of individuals 55 and older. They meet once a month to eat a light lunch and listen to a speaker from the community present solutions to the challenges seniors face. Out of this group, adults find opportunity for service, fellowship, and education. Several times a year, the group goes on an outing to build unity and have fun.

Maranatha Class – A fellowship of ladies who gather each Sunday morning before the worship service to share their burdens, pray, and study the Bible. The group looks for regular opportunities to minister to others.

Men’s Class – A fellowship of men who gather each week before the Sunday morning worship service to share prayer requests and study God’s Word. The group takes on different maintenance projects around the church as opportunities for fellowship.

CEF - Good News Club - This is a group of teachers, retirees, and young adults who meet on Friday afternoon after school each week at a local elementary school to tutor students in reading and then conduct a Good News Club using curriculum from Child Evangelism Fellowship. Emphasis is placed on singing gospel songs, memorizing a weekly verse, and teaching a Bible story.
